Throughout his music, he hopes to trigger to listeners to ask themselves, “Why play it safe if God never played it safe with you?” Anu’s hopes to redefine the industry by bringing freshness and truth to his music that can be relatable to people of various backgrounds. 

 

In 2014, Anu Alphonse started his journey for Back to Life with his hope for the album to capture both life’s questions and answers. The album takes listeners through a journey of faith, reassurance, unchanged circumstances, pain, brokenness, confession, and a steadfast truth; bringing them back to life. The songs are filled with a potential to awaken those who crave more than routine in life and music. The hope is that it will be the very thing that listeners want, but didn’t know they needed.
